Dr. Kathryn Rusk (Katie) graduated from the University of Miami in 2010 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Katie began her career in Naples working to optimize and helping to maintain patients’ active lifestyles. While working in a hospital-based outpatient facility she was mentored by Naples best Physical Therapists!
In her early career she found that her true passion was working with patients affected by orthopedic conditions, as well as neurological and neurodegenerative disorders (Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, etc.) Dr. Rusk enjoys educating patients and believes that their understanding of movement and function aids with optimizing health. Dr. Rusk has also served as a professor for Florida Gulf Coast University’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy program. She is a credentialed clinical instructor and continues her education through various certifications including a specialized course designed for those with Parkinson’s disease.
Dr. Rusk enjoys yoga, tennis, biking, and kayaking with her husband and son in her free time.
